By the time we see any tomato hornworms they are usually attacked by parasitic wasps that have laid there eggs on them. I just pluck them off and place them somewhere else so the parasitic wasp eggs can continue to eat the hornworm and hatch.

OK sorry about the hornworms! But! This video I needed today, I am in 6b and putting seeds in the ground for Muir lettuce because I think I watched a video of yours before about the class you took and started searching for heat tolerant lettuces! Now I have more faith this might work!

I have the basil and marigolds too. My tomatoes are still so small. They can’t afford a horn worm. I’ll pray too

I'm in the upstate of sc and it's been different than last year. A lot of pests and very few pollinators and I even planted trap crops and butterfly weed. My green beans are just starting to produce and they are getting destroyed by those fuzzy yellow bugs and haven't even picked a bean yet

Hornworms are the worst. I walk my garden everyday and sometimes miss something. This year is different for a lot of stuff.

Hornworms have been a nemesis in my garden as well. However, last year I randomly placed sweet basil throughout and purposely near my tomatoes and peppers. The fragrance deters the moths that lays the eggs for these rascals. They can decimate a plant overnight. Keep gardening friend.
